TIPS FOR WINTER TRAINING

BUT BUT BUT

Winter bodyMost neglected fact is that winter workouts are far more efficient than summer ones. I experienced it last December. Studies also have shown that exercising in cold weather can transform white fat, specifically belly and thigh fat, into calorie-burning brown fat. Hence, cold is the best time to lose stubborn fat and get that toned body.

The main question that arises here is how to get out of bed and how to jump into those training shoes. Well, I have some teeny weeny tips here which could help you in taking the first time towards healthy winters.

1. COLD DAYS REQUIRE MORE WARM UP

Since the temperature isn't favoring us why not be our own back. Also, it improves the blood circulation throughout the body and lessens the chances of any physical injury during the workout. Also the warmth after warm up is addicting, it feels so good to actually feel the blood rushing in the body. Just start with warm up and I swear you won't be able to give up.

2. STRETCH BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Stretching is the key to start any workout session. In winters, the body feels lazy and is less flexible as compared to summers. Stretching not just helps to relax your muscles but also to improve the blood flow inside the body. Better blood circulation keeps the body warm and gives energy to workout.

3.GO ON A WORKOUT DATE

Nothing fees better than the company of someone you adore. Having a workout buddy is a foolproof way to stay on track.

4. TRY A NEW WORKOUT

New things are captivating. A new plan will definitely keep away the boredom. Try new moves every week.

5. MAINTAIN A JOURNAL

Remember how you felt after reaching the hill top while trekking? How all the stress and worries melted away when you ran three miles straight? Store such moments in a book and flip over the pages when you feel like you lack motivation.

6.  POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Trust me on this one. SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTABILITY is a real thing. You at times may ignore your progress and neglect your body but your followers have an eagle eye. Posting daily workout videos or photos develops a sense of accountability within you which would push you towards obtaining your goal.

7.  HOME WORKOUT

If you really don't feel like stepping outside and wish to stay at home don't let that be a hindrance in your progress. Home workouts are amazing and effective too. Getting a couple of dumbbells and weights can help you get that toned body at home itself. You can hire any personal trainer online and get your workout started.
